PETG PE filmed both sides
PETG is slightly more expensive than APET and has a mirror like surface which scratches more easily than APET. The glycol in PETG acts as an internal plasticiser enabling it to be creased and bent like Rigid PVC. Having a high surface tension it does not need to be Corona treated for printing unlike APET.
PETG is best for hot line bending and elaborate vacuum forming.
At present we stock Westland PETG, which is manufactured to commercial tolerances, and Lumex G which is manufactured by 3A Composites and is our premium product.

APET PE filmed both sides
APET is a similar cost to PVC and offers good transparency and impact resistance but being an amorphous product care must be taken during heat bending to avoid embrittlement and bleaching (bleaching is a crystallising of the film causing it to go white).
APET is best for flat and cold bending applications.
At present we stock Lumex A which is manufactured by 3A Composites.
