Transfer paper
Our transfer paper allows you to transfer high quality designs on to textiles. The design is printed initially on to the transfer paper either by offset litho or by screen printing. It is then transferred to the garment with a heat press.
Sold in pallets of 20,000 sheets, 40 packs x 500 sheets per pack.
We do not split pallets.

Technical Information
T105
Applications
Cold peel transfers
Printing methods
Multicolour screen printing using plastisol inks
Litho printing + screen printing of a backup plastisol
Main advantages
No curling
Excellent dimensional stability
Good rigidity enabling easy handling
Optimal litho printing result without using an excessive amount of ink
Smooth easy release
100% ink transfer
Recommendations
Order the paper in the right grain direction.
Keep the paper wrapped before printing
If the paper is to be cut before printing, grain direction must be taken into consideration.
For litho printing it is recommended
* to use the optimal side
* to use a 4 colour litho offset press (avoid one colour or two colour presses)
* to set ink/water solution to a minimum
* to set anti set off powder to a minimum
* to stack small piles at the end of the press (max 500 sheets) to avoid set off
* do not cure litho inks in an oven or in a drying tunnel
* to apply the plastisol backing within a maximum of 5 days after litho printing
For the backing, use an appropriate mesh to achieve an ink film thickness of 75 to 100 microns
Do not over cure plastisol inks, use of a drying tunnel is recommended:120/130oC, 30 seconds
Between each step of production, paper must be protected against outside humidity
It is recommended to make transfer tests on the type of textile of the final user before industrial production
Wrap the finished product (ink + plastisol complex) in a plastic film to avoid outside humidity and store it at temperature around 20oC (68oF)
Transfer to be made within 6 months after printing. Shelf life can be affected by inks used and other variables.
Optimal transfer temperature: 170 -180oC (340 - 355oF). For higher temperatures, trials should be done beforehand, optimal transfer pressure: 2.5 to 3 bars.
Optimal heat transfer time : 5 to 10 seconds depending on ink and heat press types
Peel off the paper 15 seconds minimum after opening the heat press.
